Heathrow to Bournemouth with Taxi
London Heathrow airport is no doubt, one of the busiest airports of the world and if you are there for the very first time and no one is out there waiting to pick you up from Heathrow to Bournemouth, you can be in trouble. As I have heard many stories regarding the taxi and taxi service at the various airports of the world, I was a little worried to travel from Heathrow to Bournemouth with taxi.
Not enjoying much of choice, finally it was decided to rely on the airport taxi service. Unlike some other cities, it was nice to see that at London’s Heathrow airport the taxi service counter was located at a very prominent place and without any difficulty and delay the people at the counter arranged a taxi for me from Heathrow to Bournemouth.
Later I came to know that these people are also available at net and to facilitate their customer further the convenience of advance online booking is already made available by them. Apart from saloon car, they were also offering MPV which is a mini bus for a medium size group and also an 8 seat van for a bigger group of people.
When I came out of the Heathrow airport, London cool breeze welcomed me with open arms but I was prepared and already expecting it. It was a nice cloudy morning but the clouds were not dark enough, so the chances of rain were minimal. As we have started our journey the beautiful suburbs of London provided a refreshing effect which took away all the tiredness of the long flight.
The total distance from Heathrow to Bournemouth with taxi is 95 miles which is around 150 km and the estimated time to make this way is an hour and forty five minutes. The taxi was comfortable and it has got all the possible facilities like a Baby seat and wireless internet service. The driver was doing a good job as well thus making the journey pleasant.
We saw many small towns and villages from Heathrow to Bournemouth during our way, one of them was Ascot, a nice, calm and neat town and definitely a good place for a brief stop over. The city had nice hotels and restaurants while some good shopping areas along with cinemas and theatres were also visible. Ascot Racecourse is a famous and must go place for the tourists who visit here.
It costs around 175 pounds for business class and around 115-120 pounds for economy class, if you travel from Heathrow to Bournemouth with taxi and with the beautiful sight seeing and the cozy drive, one can easily get complete value for its money. It was a wonderful, pleasant and comfortable experience for me. I reached at my destination very relaxed and in time and if in future I require traveling again on this route, I will prefer Heathrow to Bournemouth with taxi.
